It was discouraging to see the A’s stop hitting, even though the last couple of games have been meaningless. It’s hard to imagine the Cardinals blowing it against Milwaukee now, and Detroit’s got to win against Kansas City this weekend.
I tried to watch last night’s "NUMB3RS," but I felt exhausted and distracted. I have a DVD of "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio," and I hope that movie is worthwhile.
